All that is in darkness shall be brought into the light

For there is not any thing secret that shall not be made manifest, nor hidden, that shall not be known and come abroad.  (luke 8:17)

I know its been awhile since I have written, but I have been super busy with all the gardens….however, this verse from Luke has been on my heart to write about for at least two or three weeks now.   So, finally, I decided I best do it.

What struck me while reading this Gospel passage a few weeks back was how God, in His perfect timing, is bringing so much evil into the light.   satan has had his way for eons now and I am guessing his time must be short because all of a sudden things are being revealed such as Harvey Weinstein and others, Hillary Clintons escapades, the real Russian Collusion story, the Uranium One deal, Mueller and his crony, former FBI Director, Mr. Comey and so much more that is going on in our Government.

These individuals, as well as the media, were pretty smug when they were trying to pin all of the evils upon President Trump, but now, I think they are running and a little nervous.

Isn’t it cool how God works.  I guess He meant what He said.  Those who are far from God and filled with pride felt as though they had nothing to worry about…..they were controlling everything and had everything under control…..until God started unraveling and revealing all the lies and deceptions as only God can do.

But, remember, this applies to all of us as well.   He did tell us that what we do not confess to Him will also be brought into the light so if you need to confess your deep dark secrets, and repent, now would be the time to do it.  Once we repent and confess those areas of sin, God forgets about them and acts as though they never happened.  satan cannot accuse you of those sins anymore (especially at your judgment).

I think that most everyone would agree that God is definitely up to something.  You look at all of the horrific storms and tragedies happening worldwide ( I am sure this is our purification) and now revealing all of the evil deeds that have been done in secret by people in power.

Nothing happens without God allowing it to happen.  He is trying to get our attention and I do believe we are very close to the time when we will see our souls and know there is a God. (mini judgment).   We will know the good and bad things we have done in our lives and be given another chance to rectify things.

However, there is something else we must do which is coming to my mind at this very second.  This is something that I really need to work harder at…..LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR.   Sometimes it can be so darn difficult to love those who are trying to make your life miserable or who just have a tough time being nice.  There won’t be any excuses that we can give to God so we all need to ask for that special grace to love those who seem so difficult for us to love.

Have you also noticed how the Catholic Church is going through a huge purification process.  Can it get any worse?????   Pope Francis is in for a terrible fall.  He  seems to be speeding things up to change Church Teaching.  I actually feel sorry for all of the Priests, Bishops, and Cardinals who are feeling so giddy right now and following Pope Francis down the slippery road of Heresy.  The Lord did say that to whom much has been given, much will be expected.    I do pray for them but I really do need to feel a bit more compassion for them and pray with more fervor.  Thats my lack of “love of neighbor” rearing its ugly head within me.

I keep seeing Jesus’s eyes, which were filled with compassion and love  when He looked at Judas, who betrayed Him, and I feel horrible that I can’t be that compassionate towards those who are out to destroy our Church and our beautiful Country and World.

I’ve got my work cut out for me.  I am sure the Lord is showing  you as well what you need to improve upon.  If not, you might want to ask Him because we are all sinners, and this is not the time to be judging others rather than yourself.

We need to work hard to stay close to God, pray, fast, repent, love and do our very best each and every day….as though each day is our last day.

Blessings to everyone

God’s Prison

Today while reading the Gospel of Matthew 18:21-19:1 I had to marvel at how Jesus teaches us our Faith through Parabels and namely in this parable, believe it or not….Purgatory.  Protestants don’t believe in Purgatory and its because they say it is not in the Bible.  It is true they do not have all the books that we as Catholics have, , but, everyone has the Gospels and here is an example of Jesus teaching us about Purgatory.

Then Peter went up to Jesus and said, ‘Lord, how often must I forgive my brother if he wrongs me? As often as seven times?’
Jesus answered, ‘Not seven, I tell you, but seventy-seven times.
‘And so the kingdom of Heaven may be compared to a king who decided to settle his accounts with his servants. When the reckoning began, they brought him a man who owed ten thousand talents; he had no means of paying, so his master gave orders that he should be sold, together with his wife and children and all his possessions, to meet the debt. At this, the servant threw himself down at his master’s feet, with the words, “Be patient with me and I will pay the whole sum.” And the servant’s master felt so sorry for him that he let him go and cancelled the debt.
Now think about this…..Jesus is telling us basically how God works here in regards to our sins and namely forgiveness.  He begins by telling us that the debt is enormous and by written accounts of theologians, there is no way anyone would be able to pay that amount back in their entire lifetime.
According to one source, the Carmelite Order,  “ten thousand talents were equal to 350 tons of gold. Even if the debtor and his family would have worked their whole life, they would never have been capable to earn 350 tons of gold. The extreme estimate is made on purpose. Our debt before God is countless and unpayable!”
What I am getting at here is how in the world can anyone even attempt to pay back their debt if they are in prison?  Jesus is basically letting the man know that if he does not pay his debt, he will be thrown into prison.   What is this debt….in reality it is our sins.  The amount Jesus talks about in terms of money is huge.  Our sins are huge and we simply do not have the means of paying it all back.  The man begs for mercy.  The King gives His mercy (which is Jesus).  When we ask Jesus to forgive us our debt is wiped away instantly.   This is where confession comes in.  We go to confession and ask for forgiveness.  Through the instrument of Priests, Jesus forgives us and gives us a Penance to atone for those sins.   If we are sincere and do our penance which is so little, everything is wiped away and we are cleansed.  It is that simple.
If you notice, the king does not have mercy on this man UNTIL the man asks for Mercy.  We too must ask God for mercy, don’t expect it without asking for it.
But, what if we don’t ask for forgiveness or do not forgive others…..what is this prison Jesus is talking about.  The Prison Jesus is talking about here is Purgatory.  If we should die with the debt of sins on our soul, we are being told  we will go to prison.  When you are in prison you are unable to pay for your debts, so someone else would have to pay that debt….correct?
That is exactly what our Faith teaches us….those in purgatory are unable to pray for themselves or help themselves while in Purgatory.  They can pray for us, but they can’t pray for themselves.  We are taught we must pray for the souls in Purgatory in order for them to be released.  Purgatory is a place of atonement for our sins.  The person who is in Purgatory will suffer to atone for their sins.   There are a number of ways for us to atone for our sins here on earth.  Scripture states that “Those who honor their father atone for sins, they store up riches who respect their mother” (Sirach 3:3-4), also, “As water quenches a flaming fire, so almsgiving atones for sins” (Sirach 3:30).  Our prayers, sacrifices and sufferings atone for sins.  So two things:  Asking for forgiveness and then atoning for those sins will spare you prison time once you die.
Now as this servant went out, he happened to meet a fellow-servant who owed him one hundred denarii; and he seized him by the throat and began to throttle him, saying, “Pay what you owe me.” His fellow-servant fell at his feet and appealed to him, saying, “Be patient with me and I will pay you.” But the other would not agree; on the contrary, he had him thrown into prison till he should pay the debt.
His fellow-servants were deeply distressed when they saw what had happened, and they went to their master and reported the whole affair to him.
Then the master sent for the man and said to him, “You wicked servant, I cancelled all that debt of yours when you appealed to me. Were you not bound, then, to have pity on your fellow-servant just as I had pity on you?” And in his anger the master handed him over to the torturers till he should pay all his debt. And that is how my heavenly Father will deal with you unless you each forgive your brother from your heart.’
Jesus had now finished what he wanted to say, and he left Galilee and came into the territory of Judea on the far side of the Jordan.
And in his anger the master handed him over to the torturers till he should pay all his debt. And that is how my heavenly Father will deal with you unless you each forgive your brother from your heart.’
So Jesus is being very clear here.  He is telling us that our debts must be paid before we can even think about getting to Heaven.   He is handing us over to the torturers (Purgatory) until all our sins are atoned for.  Often times, in God’s great Mercy, He will allow many trials and sufferings for us here on earth which we can use to atone for our sins.  All we need to do is accept each of those trials and sufferings, offer it to Him for those in Purgatory, for ourselves, for those we are praying for etc.  All is used for atonement of not only our sins but the sins of others and those in Purgatory.
If you struggle believing this, I would say only one thing:  Go ask Jesus and He will let you know. When we sincerely search for Truth, the truth will be found because Jesus wants us to know Truth.  He has always let me know the truth when I have come to Him with sincerity…..and this means letting go of your own ideas and thoughts on the matter so that He can fill your heart with truth.
God Bless Everyone.

My People Perish for lack of Knowledge (Hosea 4:6)

“My People Perish for lack of Knowledge “(Hosea 4:6) was placed on my heart this morning.

I believe it all started when I was considering my life….looking back on what I have done – both good and bad.  What struck me was the correlation between “The Tree of Life” in the garden of Eden and the “Ten Commandments”.

This makes sense.  God told Adam and Eve that they could eat from any of the fruit in the garden except for one tree…“You are free to eat from any of the trees of the garden except the tree of knowledge of good and bad.  From that tree you shall not eat; the moment you eat from it you are surely doomed to die” (Genesis 2:16-17).

What did God tell us:

15 See, I have set before you today life and prosperity, death and adversity. 16 If you obey the commandments of the Lord your God[a] that I am commanding you today, by loving the Lord your God, walking in his ways, and observing his commandments, decrees, and ordinances, then you shall live and become numerous, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land that you are entering to possess. 17 But if your heart turns away and you do not hear, but are led astray to bow down to other gods and serve them, 18 I declare to you today that you shall perish; you shall not live long in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess. 19 I call heaven and earth to witness against you today that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Choose life so that you and your descendants may live, 20 loving the Lord your God, obeying him, and holding fast to him; for that means life to you and length of days, so that you may live in the land that the Lord swore to give to your ancestors, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. (Deuteronomy 30:15-20)

These words are by all accounts the same thing as the words spoken to Adam and Eve.  He warned them that if they should disobey him, they would perish.  God spoke the same words to Moses to give to the Israelites.  Those words are for us today as well.  Hence, God said: “My people perish for lack of knowledge”.

What I want to talk about here are several things that we as a society are perishing simply because of our disobedience to the Lords Commandments.  Adam and Eve were thrown out of the Garden of Eden because of disobedience and what resulted was sickness,  death and hardships- precisely because of sin.

We too, have lost our prosperity and unity as a nation because of allowing grave sins to enter into our culture.  We are literally fighting a cultural civil war.  You have those on the one side demanding sinful laws while the other side is fighting to bring back our nation to a Godly Nation – one that is in obedience to the Lord.

This isn’t about President Trump, the man.  Rather, it is about President Trump trying to turn the tide.  The liberals are fiercely trying to protect their unlawful laws – They are in great fear of losing the war in this cultural battle.   Satan is leading them, and God is leading those who are trying to fight against sinful laws.

Many of those unlawful laws have to do with sexual orientation.  Same Sex Marriage, Homosexuality, Transgenderism, Abortion, Contraception, etc.   For years now I have heard the argument that Homosexuality is a result of these individuals “being born that way”.  This would of course mean that it is inherent in their genes.  If they can prove this then of course, who could argue against them?  That however is the problem (for them).

There have been numerous studies on this subject and I would like to link you to some of the evidence by Science which concludes that there is no such thing as a “Homosexual Gene”.

Mutable or Immutable?
homosexualScience has been enlisted to de-pathologize homosexuality in so far as it can lend credence to the assertion that homosexuality is an immutable condition. The immutability issue is as irrelevant to the moral nature of homosexual behavior as it is to alcoholic behavior. Alcoholics, by definition, are alcoholics for life. If they wish to remain sober, they may never drink again. (Article can be found here.)

Are Gays Born that Way?Most Americans now say yes, but Science says No
by STEVE RAY on JUNE 30, 2015

My Earlier article: Homosexuality in Genes and in Animals?

PRINCETON, NJ, May 20, 2015 ( — For the first time, a majority of Americans say that homosexuals are “born that way.

According to the latest Gallup poll, 51 percent of Americans say that people are born gay or lesbian, while only 30 percent say outside factors such as upbringing and environment determine sexual orientation.

However, science would not bear that out. No fewer than eight major studies from around the world have found homosexuality is not a genetic condition. (More here)

I would like to direct you to an excellent article “The New Intolerance”

The truth shall set us free if we but take an honest look at ourselves and our beliefs.  God is trying very hard to set us free from all of our false beliefs.  Many times we need these beliefs because we need to justify ourselves.  But that only puts us in chains.  Let God show you where you may have it wrong….I am doing the same.  The Truth will bring us back to a Godly life, happiness, prosperity and unity.

God Bless.

Important voting information

Well, here we are again, another 4 years later trying to decide who will be the best candidate to run our country.

This election is of utmost importance in the sense that by now we should all understand and realize that the world is being purified because of our sins against God.   Who we choose on election day could either mitigate our purification or intensify it.   Not only that, but our very souls are at stake here.

I have recently been given some very important information on what we should be considering when we go to the polling booth.   If you didn’t know this before, abortion and same sex marriage are two of the gravest evils being committed,  causing us to fall from grace and God’s helping hand.

I want to remind you of two very important scripture verses which we need  to take very seriously before we make our decision on who to vote for.image

” if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)”

And Again:

18 When I say to a wicked person, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn them or speak out to dissuade them from their evil ways in order to save their life, that wicked person will die for[a] their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood. 19 But if you do warn the wicked person and they do not turn from their wickedness or from their evil ways, they will die for their sin; but you will have saved yourself.

20 “Again, when a righteous person turns from their righteousness and does evil, and I put a stumbling block before them, they will die. Since you did not warn them, they will die for their sin. The righteous things that person did will not be remembered, and I will hold you accountable for their blood. (Ezekiel 3:18-20)

Catholics who vote for someone who promotes abortion and same sex marriage will be in mortal sin and cannot receive  Holy Communion, until you repent of your sin.

imageThis is serious stuff.  If you have to hold your nose to vote, then do it.   Do it God’s way and He will surely reward you; otherwise, you will be held to account and remember, none of us know the time or day when we shall be facing God for our judgment.   Would you go to hell or spend a long time in purgatory just to vote for someone who is totally against God….not I.

There are two individuals, I believe, who would be ok for us to vote for.  One is an independent from Utah and the other is Trump.

Trump’s Promises to Catholics
Dan Lynch

Last week I attended and addressed the 18th Annual Catholic Leadership Conference, held October 4-6 in Denver Colorado. Both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton were invited to attend and address us.

Donald Trump said that he had a scheduling conflict, but that he would send us a letter. Two days before the conference, Hillary Clinton said that she would not attend.

While I was at the event, I spoke to Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life. He is a member of a prestigious Catholic Advisory Group to the Trump campaign. I asked him directly whether they had any real input to the Trump campaign or whether they were just being used as window dressing. Father Frank told me that he had just finished speaking on his cell phone with the director of the Trump campaign and, “Yes, they were listening to Catholics and the Catholic Advisory Group.”

Mr. Trump wrote in his letter:

“I have a message for Catholics: I will be there for you. I will stand with you. I will fight for you. I am, and will remain, pro-life. I will defend your religious liberties and the right to fully and freely practice your religion, as individuals, business owners and academic institutions.”

He wrote that Catholics are “a rich part of our nation’s history” and that “the United States was, and is, strengthened through Catholic men, women, priests and religious Sisters.”

“Hillary Clinton supports forcing The Little Sisters of the Poor who have taken care of the elderly poor since 1839, to pay for contraceptives in their health care plan (even though they have never wanted them, never used them and never will), and having the government fine them heavily if they continue to refuse to abide by this onerous mandate,” Trump wrote.

He added that Clinton “has been hostile to the core issues and policies of greatest concern to Catholics: life, religious liberty, Supreme Court nominations, affordable and quality healthcare, educational choice and home schooling.”

“On issues and policies of greatest concern to Catholics, the differences between myself and Hillary Clinton are stark. I will stand with Catholics and fight for you,” he wrote. “Hillary Clinton has been openly hostile to these core Catholic issues for a long time, and is only going to be worse with Tim Kaine now following her lead.”

“We are at a crossroads in our country,” he wrote. “Much like 1980. But the stakes are higher now—the highest they have ever been. We have two candidates representing entirely different agendas for our country that will take it in two completely different directions for generations to come. And our direction offers a much brighter future for our beloved country.”

“Thank you for giving me the time to share my thoughts with you on some of the critical issues facing us today.”

“Please keep me and my family in your prayers.”

“God bless you and may God bless the United States of America.”

You may read Donald Trump’s full letter to the Catholic Leadership Conference here.

As Catholics, before we vote, we are called to inform ourselves about the issues and to form our consciences correctly in accordance with the natural moral law and the teachings of the Catholic Church.

The Catholic bishops of the United States offer a guide, Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship (en Español). This is their teaching document on the political responsibility of Catholics. They urge pastors, lay and religious faithful, and all people of good will to use this statement to help form their consciences; to teach those entrusted to their care; to contribute to civil and respectful public dialogue; and to shape political choices in the coming election in light of Catholic teaching. The statement lifts up our dual heritage as both faithful Catholics and American citizens with rights and duties as participants in the civil order.

Let us read the guide, inform ourselves, correctly form our consciences and vote accordingly.

Dan Lynch is the Director of Dan Lynch Apostolates promoting devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe, Jesus King of All Nations, Our Lady of America and St. John Paul II. You may learn more about Dan here. (Dan Lynch, From King of all Nations

This is a powerful sermon which we absolutely should listen to before we cast our vote.

Please let others know if they do not understand.  All of our souls are at stake here.  May we all have eyes to see and ears to hear.  This is truly the time to repent of our stubborn ways and begin following God’s laws so that we  can have God’s help and blessings once again.  Note:  Do not expect to receive God’s protection if you cannot and will  not follow His Laws.

I would like to close with a wonderful article:  Human Respect:  Don’t give in to the Chase

Lets all do the right thing and save our Country, family and loved ones.    Blessings to all of you.

The challenge of being generous

A few days ago I was reading the Gospel of the day, Luke 12:13-21, when I was struck by the following words:  “Take care to guard against all greed, for though one may be rich, one’s life does not consist of possessions”.

It began with someone who said to Jesus, “Teacher, tell my brother to share the inheritance with me”.  Then Jesus told them a parable about a rich man who thought to himself that he would tear down his barns to build larger ones because he did not have space to store his harvest.   but God said to him, “you fool, this night your life will be demanded of you; and the things you have prepared, to whom will they belong?  Thus will it be for the one who stores up treasure for himself but is not rich in what matters to God”

Why this struck me so  hard is because right now I am dealing with the estates of two deceased family members.  My brothers estate and my Father-in-Laws estate.  Inevitably, you will always get  individuals who want everything and are loathe to share.

Generosity is a gift and is something that we have to intentionally cultivate through our will.  God gives us the grace to do so, but whether we accept that grace to become generous people is up to us.

I think we all have to work at this.  There are some things that we have that we are very generous with, and then again, there are other things that we have that we have difficulty parting with.   I, for one, know that God has challenged me in the area of plants.  I love every beautiful plant out there and want them all.  But, there have been quite a few times where the Lord has asked me to give them up for other people.  I have done so, but after I have talked myself into it for awhile.  It doesn’t come naturally to give up my most prized plants.

Some people will give financial help to others quite freely, but then when it comes to possessions, they hoard like crazy.  So, This is where each one of us has to sit down and  figure out what we are lusting after and  have become attached to so that we can relinquish these items to become  “poor in spirit”.

I do believe the Lord is challenging every one of us who has the desire to be close to Him in order to show us our weaknesses and the areas we need to improve upon.

This is very important right now because when the “crash” does come, we will lose everything that we desired most (in order to purify us of our attachments)….This means I have to walk away from any attachments I have to plants or any other possessions that I may have trouble parting with – NOW).     It also means that if we are hoarding food just for ourselves, our food will rot and we will not have what we need during those times of need.

Remember, this whole purification process is about humbling us and purifying us so that we quit relying totally on ourselves.  We need to rely on God.  We also have become so materialistic that we find our joy and love in “things” or “acquiring things”, instead of God.  God aims to change all that.  I have heard the statement, I think from “Charlie”, that “what we desire most will be  used against us”.

In regard to the two estates I have found myself wanting several things that others also wanted.  I had to really dig deep and ask myself “why do I want that”, do I need it”, do they want it more or could they use it more”; will that item be used or just sit there and collect dust”.

There were a few mornings where I had just begun my prayer time when I was struck with the thought that I needed to give up those items that others had wanted- so before I even finished my prayers I ran around the house collecting those items to give away.  I can say I truly felt so much better for it.   I know the Lord was calling me to think of them first and myself last and to test me.  Would I let possessions rule my life?  It is a terrible temptation to want or think we need to have all this stuff, especially when you go through your loves ones possessions.    We will need to think of the other person and not ourselves.  We are in training here, so please heed His voice.  Possessions are to be used and shared.

Remember we can’t take anything with us, and boy does that hit home when you are going through your loves ones possessions.  It is much better to give than to receive, and lets work on giving up those things which mean the most to us, if someone else needs it more.  You will find God will be even more generous with you in the things you really need.

God Bless

The Faith of a Mustard Seed

Years ago when I first began reading the Bible I read this verse:

if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you. Matthew 17:10

And in Genesis 1:26-29  I was even more intrigued when I was reading that God created us to have dominion over the earth and all that was on the earth…..

“Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.  So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.  And God blessed them, and God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth

There were times where I would test this Scripture verse…by mustering all the faith I could possibly muster and command the wind to die down….Nothing happened. I would try again and again; each time nothing happened. I would sit and talk to the Lord about this verse and ask Him how does one get enough faith to move a mountain? “I thought, we were created to have dominion over all the earth weren’t we?

I could never figure it out,  but just this morning I had that aha moment where everything finally clicked.  I finally get it.

image What I came to realize is that it has everything to do with being in God’s Divine Will.  I think I can say that none of us are living in God’s Divine Will at the moment because I don’t know of anyone moving mountains and uprooting trees….Luisa Piccarreta wrote about this when she said the following:

Do you know what this means?   It means that when Adam and Eve were created and were put in the Garden of Eden they were given the Divine Gifts of God, they were given dominion over all created things but lost all of that because of SIN.  They were no longer in God’s Divine Will.  Adam and Eve were born without sin, just like the Blessed Mother.  The only three people in all of creation who were born without sin and who lived in the Divine Will of God.  However, Adam and Eve lost their gifts once they disobeyed God – they failed the test which God had given them to see if they were worthy of these Divine Gifts.  The Blessed Mother, on the other hand, passed the test that was given to her and so she, who lives in the Divine Will, has the power of dominion over all created things.

We too could have this.  God intended for all of us to have these Divine Gifts – to share in His Divinity.  But, until we let go of our own human wills we will never, ever share in these beautiful gifts.  We are saying NO to God every time we sin.  We are also saying No to God when we sense we should do something good but we do not do it because we are lazy or its not something we are interested in doing.  Even now when the Blessed Mother has been coming to various regions of the world giving us lessons on how we should be living – but we do not do it, we are grieving the Lord.

That brings me to the next point.  God was very sad when Adam and Eve failed the test and so He was determined to bring about this Garden of Eden once again for all of His children; but, in the meantime, He created Mary who would be given the grace, like Adam and Eve, to be born without sin.  She was asked to give up her will and accept God’s will for her life.  She accepted and did just that.  God’s plan was for Mary to be our Spiritual Mother and lead us and teach us how to live in the Divine Will – to gather us under her mantle and bring us to Jesus with pure hearts.  She would be our mentor.  Once she gathers all of her children, the New Kingdom will come once again where we will reign with a new purity.  We will live in the Divine Will and shall inherit what was once lost through the sin of Adam and Eve.  This is what is called the “New Era of Peace”.  That is why we are going through these tribulations and being purified.  We must die to self so that we might live.  We must die to all that we desire and want and hand over our wills in exchange for God’s Divine Will.  As you can see, Adam and Eve had to leave once they sinned and disobeyed God.  We must all be obedient in all things to God.  This is going to take a lot of purification of ourselves. We are now being given the same test as the Blessed Mother – God is asking us to exchange our wills for His Divine Will.  Will we pass the test?  Jesus prayed, before He ascended into Heaven the Our Father prayer which says:   ” Your Kingdom Come, Your will be done, On Earth as it is in Heaven”. Thats what it means…God’s will shall be done, on earth as it is in heaven once we enter the new Era of Peace.

Isaiah: 13:9-13…..See, the day of the Lord is coming
—a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger—
to make the land desolate
and destroy the sinners within it.
10 The stars of heaven and their constellations
will not show their light.
The rising sun will be darkened
and the moon will not give its light.
11 I will punish the world for its evil,
the wicked for their sins.
I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty
and will humble the pride of the ruthless.
12 I will make people scarcer than pure gold,
more rare than the gold of Ophir.
13 Therefore I will make the heavens tremble;
and the earth will shake from its place
at the wrath of the Lord Almighty,
in the day of his burning anger.

but then once we have been purified and enter into the new Era of Peace, Isaiah says this:

Isaiah 11:6-9

After the Storm
After the Storm

The Wolf shall dwell with the lamb,
and the leopard shall lie down with the young goat,
and the calf and the lion and the fattened calf together;
and a little child shall lead them.
7 The cow and the bear shall graze;
their young shall lie down together;
and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8 The nursing child shall play over the hole of the cobra,
and the weaned child shall put his hand on the adder’s den.
9They shall not hurt or destroy
in all my holy mountain;
for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord
as the waters cover the sea.

I look forward to the time I can calm the winds; command all the bugs to leave me alone and live in peace with all animals and humanity with no sickness or diseases.  This should make you excited and want to start calling out to God to help you know and live in His Divine Will.  It sure makes me hopeful and very excited.

Be calm in regard to your spirit and always confide completely in Jesus.  Make an effort to always conform to the Divine Will in everything, in pleasure, and in adversity.  Don’t worry about tomorrow (Padre Pio).

Blessings to all of you.

Obedience is Healing to the mind, body, and soul

Obedience saves us.  Obedience is also a gauge to our degree of humility.  Humility is one of the greatest virtues we can obtain and we can become humble simply by practicing obedience to Natural Laws, as God outlined in Scripture, and to our man-made laws, which are supposed to be based on natural laws.image

Natural law refers to God’s moral law as revealed through nature—in particular, through God’s gift of the human conscience. Christians are more familiar with God’s moral law as revealed through Scripture and commonly cite Bible passages when addressing moral issues. However, God’s moral law is not uniquely biblical. Whereas the gospel of forgiveness in Christ is uniquely biblical (for God reveals it to us only there), the divine moral law may be discovered also in nature

If, however, our man-made laws conflict with God’s laws we are not bound to be obedient to anything that is sinful.  In fact, we must pray for courage to resist falling into man-made laws that are not of God.  This, of course, would include laws such as abortion, contraception, same-sex marriage and so on.

imageOur obedience is also required, by God, in areas of civil authority.  For instance we have laws to protect the citizens and the good of all…i.e.  one example is to follow the speed limits as directed.  When we disobey something as simple as this we are disobedient and we have sinned.   We have rebelled.  God, in His wisdom has given us leaders to represent Him, here on earth.  We are expected to obey those who have authority over us – by doing so we grow spiritually in the virtue of obedience and humility.  Only, however, if they are laws that do not contradict natural law.

God gets our attention through afflictions:

5 “God is mighty, but does not despise men; he is mighty, and firm in his purpose. 6 He does not keep the wicked alive but gives the afflicted their rights. 7 He does not take his eyes off the righteous; he enthrones them with kings and exalts them forever. 8 But if men are bound in chains, held fast by cords of affliction, 9 he tells them what they have done– that they have sinned arrogantly. 10 He makes them listen to correction and commands them to repent of their evil. 11 If they obey and serve him, they will spend the rest of their days in prosperity and their years in contentment. 12 But if they do not listen, they will perish by the sword and die without knowledge. 13 “The godless in heart harbor resentment; even when he fetters them, they do not cry for help. 14 They die in their youth, among male prostitutes of the shrines. 15 But those who suffer he delivers in their suffering; he speaks to them in their affliction.  Job 36: 5-15

God sees all and knows each one of us intimately.  He knows exactly what we need to come to our senses and to come back to HIM.  Sometimes we are so darn stubborn and stuck in our sinful lifestyles that He will allow afflictions.  This is His mercy.  He will never abandon us and tries to show us that His ways will bring us health and prosperity.  “My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments; for length of days and years of life and abundant welfare will they give you” (Proverbs 3: 1-2).   This is totally different from redemptive suffering whereby He searches for souls who will suffer for others.  These souls, known as victim souls,  abandon all of their sufferings to God so that grace can be given to the sinner to repent.

Here are various scriptures which speak of how God heals us when we repent.  Many of the scripture verses cite how the Lord taught them first- then healed them.image

1. (Exodus 15:26 ) and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you.”

2. (Deuteronomy 32:39) ‘Now see that I, even I, am He, And there is no God besides Me; I kill and I make alive; I wound and I heal; Nor is there any who can deliver from My hand.

6. (Psalms 103:1-4) Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! {2} Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: {3} Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, {4} Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,

11. (Isaiah 53:5) But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

12. (Isaiah 58:8) Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard.

13. (Jeremiah 3:22) “Return, you backsliding children, And I will heal your backslidings.” “Indeed we do come to You, For You are the LORD our God.

14. (Jeremiah 30:17) For I will restore health to you And heal you of your wounds,’ says the LORD, ‘Because they called you an outcast saying: “This is Zion; No one seeks her.”‘

15. (Jeremiah 33:6) ‘Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.

16. (Hosea 6:1) Come, and let us return to the LORD; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up.

17. (Hosea 14:4 ) “I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely, For My anger has turned away from him.

18. (Malachi 4:2) But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves.

19. (Matthew 4:23) And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.

20. (Matthew 8:13) Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that same hour.

21. (Matthew 8:16 ) When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick,

22. (Matthew 10:1) And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease.

23. (Matthew 10:8 ) “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

24. (Matthew 12:22 ) Then one was brought to Him who was demon-possessed, blind and mute; and He healed him, so that the blind and mute man both spoke and saw.

25. (Luke 9:6)So they departed and went through the towns, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere.(The twelve are sent out)

26. (Luke 10:8-9) “Whatever city you enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you. {9} “And heal the sick there, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.'(The seventy are sent out)

27. (Luke 17:15) And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God,(The story of the ten lepers)

28. (Healing of the lame man at the Gate Beautiful) (Acts 4:29-31) “Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, {30} “by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.” {31} And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

29. (James 5:14-16) Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. {15} And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. {16} Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

30. (Revelation 22:2) In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

31. (Luke 8:48) And He said to her, “Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace.”

32. (Luke 5:17) Now it happened on a certain day, as He was teaching, that there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who had come out of every town of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was present to heal them.

imageMy prayer is that all who are facing some form of sickness today will receive God’s mighty grace of healing.  Be it spiritual, physical or mental healing.  God wants to heal and does heal.  He is the same today as He was 2000 years ago.  Humble thyself before the Lord and ask Him to be with you in your affliction and show you what you need to do.  He may test you for a time to make sure you will not only repent but not backslide into sinful behavior once again.  As the Lord stated in John 5:14:

Afterward Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, “See, you are well! Sin no more, that nothing worse may happen to you.” (John 5:14)

God Bless.

All in God’s Time

This is just a reminder of how God works, especially in regard to prophecy.  I was asked the other day about one of my postings, in regard to giving information I had received, about September being the month for the crash.

Yes, I did state that many were saying that September would be the month of the economic crash, whereas some also stated that they figured things would start in late fall.  I, like many others were waiting for this to happen.  Well, it didn’t in the United States anyway.  Later, however I read a report that showed 13 countries had come perilously close to crashing or were definitely in a downward spiral.  This did happen to be in September.

God’s ways and thoughts are totally different from ours.  There are times we may be given something from the Lord and without really understanding how to interpret the words, we can mistake the meaning and intent given to us.  I know this has happened to me on many occasions a number of years ago.  I was so frustrated and just wanted to give up ever hearing from the Lord….but when I spoke to a Priest friend of mine he told me that God allows that for our growth and to subdue any pride that may be festering within us.   It is very humbling and scary all at the same time.

However, we also must realize that when these people speak about the “economic crash” or “end times” tribulation period, this is for the entire world….not just the United States.  So, even if we don’t see much change going on around us, things are happening world-wide.  Another thing to remember is that we are so used to wars, storms, and numerous other evils in our society that we may think “well, that has always happened – this time is no different”.   I know a lot of people who think this way and thats that.

Yes, these things have always happened, because history continually repeats itself and has repeated itself since the beginning of time….which is why we should know our History and learn from our mistakes and the mistakes of other societies which have come and gone.  In regard to the book of Revelations, a Priest once told me that when you read Revelations it is not a book that you can read in a time-line fashion. Paragraph one isn’t necessarily going to happen before paragraph 2 and so on.   So this adds to the confusion as well.  Its better left alone, as far as I am concerned, because I can’t figure out how it is all going to happen.  I don’t really believe anyone else who says they have it all figured out either.  Some of these individuals will give you an outline of all that will happen in year 1 and year 2 and so on…..  I believe they will be very disappointed when things don’t turn out as they thought they would.

When you look at Noah’s time…..God told him to build an ark because his family was going to be saved during the great deluge.  Now, Noah, of course, probably had no clue when this would take place, but he was told to tell others about the deluge so they too could be saved.  No one listened to him….maybe because it took so long.  I once read that scholars who studied this time frame thought that perhaps it took 100 years to build the ark.  Well, that means Noah was warning people for the majority of those years.  Does that make him a false prophet if things did not happen when they thought it should….did they see all the warning signs God probably gave them during that time?  Obviously not.   Those who believed and changed their lives, which was only the family of Noah, were saved.

“By faith, Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, took heed and constructed an ark for the saving of his household; by this he condemned the world and became an  heir of the righteousness which comes by faith (Hebrews 11: 7)

How about Jonah?   God told him to go to Ninevah and tell the people that in so many days time their city would be destroyed.  Jonah went into the city and cried

“Yet forty days, and Ninevah shall be overthrown!  And the people of Ninevah believed God; they proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them to the least of them….when God saw what they did, how they turned from their evil way, God repented of the evil which he had said he would do to them; and he did not do it”  (Jonah 3:4-10)

Jonah was upset because God didn’t do what He said he would do and it made him look pretty foolish.  God changed His mind because of the response to His warning.

Same thing can happen here for us today.  We just absolutely do not know exactly how things will play out.  God is warning us and telling us some of the severe things that may happen if we do not change our ways.  Well, how are we to know if enough of us change our ways to change God’s mind….we don’t.  We take the prophets seriously do our best by changing our lives back to God, praying, and hoping for the best.  But woe to us if we do not take God seriously because then we are in big trouble.  As you can see, our response to the warnings is huge.  All God wants is for us to come back to Him.  He doesn’t want to punish us but if we don’t listen….He has got to do something.   We can see how prayer can mitigate if not totally change events.  Thats what we need to do, pray and intercede to mitigate the coming events.

We probably all know about Lot being saved from the punishment of Sodom and Gomarrah.

2 The two men said to Lot, “Do you have anyone else here—sons-in-law, sons or daughters, or anyone else in the city who belongs to you? Get them out of here, 13 because we are going to destroy this place. The outcry to the Lord against its people is so great that he has sent us to destroy it.”

14 So Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who were pledged to marry[a] his daughters. He said, “Hurry and get out of this place, because the Lord is about to destroy the city!” But his sons-in-law thought he was joking.

15 With the coming of dawn, the angels urged Lot, saying, “Hurry! Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, or you will be swept away when the city is punished.”

16 When he hesitated, the men grasped his hand and the hands of his wife and of his two daughters and led them safely out of the city, for the Lord was merciful to them. 17 As soon as they had brought them out, one of them said, “Flee for your lives! Don’t look back, and don’t stop anywhere in the plain! Flee to the mountains or you will be swept away!”

God will save the righteous but we must listen to Him as well.  He saved lot and his family while the city was totally destroyed along with all of its inhabitants.

Our time period has become worse than Sodom and Gomorrah and we should not be surprised or think that punishment will not come if we do not change our ways.  “Jesus Christ is  the same, yesterday, and today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).

The gloom and doom reporting of coming events is not something anyone likes to hear or talk about, but the truth of the matter is that the Church itself has approved numerous visionarys/prophets  who have spoken of gloom and doom for our world today.  The Akita prophecy is one of the worst, and yet is approved.  The Fatima messages have also been approved by the Church because their has been proof that the Lord has spoken.    Blessed Ann Catherine Emerich is another one whose messages have been found to be true and she speaks a lot about the two popes and schism in the church; Anna Tiaga speaks much about the horrible events which are to come, and on and on and on.

From the beginning of this blog I never expected to be speaking about the end-times….however, the Lord had something more in mind than what I was given to know.  I am to let others know of what is happening or going to happen in these times.  It makes me very uncomfortable and I don’t like to do it, but I need to be as obedient as I possibly can.  It is not so much of what the Lord is telling me, but what He is telling others and I am to pass this information on.   I have to discern if what I am telling you is correct or if its merely hogwash.  That can be very difficult, so there may be times that I totally screw up.  You need to discern as well.  Do your own homework and pray to the Holy Spirit for guidance.

I do read Charlie Johnstons material and even though I do not agree with everything he has to say, there are some things which I do believe.  His latest posting was very good I thought on prophecy and what he believes God is saying.  You can read it here.

Do we Believe in the Words of Jesus???

When I read the Gospel of Matthew a few days ago, the words,  “Jesus said to them,  Amen, I say to you, tax collectors and prostitutes are entering the Kingdom of God before you.  When John came to you in the way of righteousness, you did not believe him;   but tax collectors and prostitutes did.  Yet even when you saw that, you did not later change your minds and believe him.” (Matt 21:28-32)

What really struck me here is this:   Do we believe what we are being told today by legitimate prophets?  Do we ignore the instructions or words of wisdom in favor of our own opinions and continue going against the Lords’ teachings or instructions?  Do we even take them seriously????

Sometimes He gives us information about His love and great mercy for all of us,  other times we receive explanations about His teachings which are not being taught the correct way anymore, and on many occasions, as of late, we are receiving a “heads-up” about what may be happening in the future, both good and bad, if we don’t turn back to HIM.   If we listen to His Words and act upon them we can expect much mercy; if we do not listen to God’s instructions and advice, we bring His wrath down upon us.  Simple as that.image

“Surely the Lord God does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets.” (Amos:3:7).

I spoke a little about Living in His Divine Will on the last posting.  This is of utmost importance.  He appointed Luisa Piccarreta as His Prophet in this instance.  He doesn’t speak just to speak.  We really need to take these words to Heart, and not just Luisa’s words, but other Prophets who have been approved by the Church.  We have to be careful and not follow those who claim to be hearing from God but have not been appointed by God to deliver His message.

The Church tells us who is legitimate and who is not.  If we decide to go against the Church and believe the words of someone the Bishops tell us not to follow, we are going against God’s legitimate authority here on earth.   If we do not take to heart the words of proven Prophets, which the Church has approved,  we are like the scribes and pharisees in the Gospel Reading which I quoted above.  Either way we are at odds with God.

Now, the Church also teaches that we do not need to believe prophecies in order to be saved.  That is true.  Everything that we need to know to be saved is in the Bible.  But, a true prophet will never say anything that is contrary to Scripture.  Never.  Therefore, if a person is a righteous person and doing the will of God but does not wish to read or study the prophecies of various prophets throughout the ages, they are ok.  It is really those who condemn the true prophets or who are not living in the will of God according to the teachings given to us in His Word, the Bible.

So, if we are being corrected on the way we are living or something we are doing contrary to God’s will, but ignore the correction because we don’t want to change or because we believe we are “right” and the Church approved prophet is “wrong”,  then we are setting ourselves up against God.  What excuse will we have?  For the most part, none.

A very simple example of this would be something like this:  Early on in my conversion process I was studying what the Church taught about my Catholic Faith.  I had forgotten so many things and I believe my Angel Guardian was instrumental in providing me with insight and information as needed.  My daughter was going to a Catholic School at the time and I would drop her off each morning.  The Church was next door and so I decided to start going to daily Mass.  However, I always had some pop or gum or something else that I was eating or drinking before Mass.  Shortly thereafter I began to have this nagging sense that I shouldn’t be doing this.  So, I started praying about it and wondering.  I asked one Priest about it and he said “oh for pete’s sakes,   don’t worry about it.  you can have pop to drink or coffee, etc.  (The church teaches that you cannot have anything except medicine one hour prior to receiving Holy Communion).  Well, his response shook my heart….it didn’t sound correct, so I kept praying.  One day, I received a piece of information stating the rules on this matter.  It said only medicine and water could be taken.  So, from that moment forward, I made sure I had nothing but water before going to Mass and receiving Holy Communion.

We need to change our ways when presented with the Truth.  If we do not, we are in disobedience, and hence, sin.  We are going against God.

Another example is how we receive our Lord in Holy Communion.   The Lord literally pierced my heart with the knowledge that I was to receive Him in my Mouth, not my hands.  I asked our Lord to please send me valid information so I could let others know the truth as well.  He did.  Plenty of information.  Some people believed me and others did not.  Not that they should have believed me because I was not anyone of authority or knowledge on the subject, but the information I presented to them was from an authoritative and approved source.

German Mystic, Justine Klutz (With a Comunique dated 6 August 1976 (ref. no. GV-Nr image4536/76/1a;E. nR. 2163) the Ordinary of the Diocese of Monaco-Freising authorized the printing of the writings, “God speaks to the Soul”.) wrote the following on the Eucharist:

Jesus spoke often of receiving Holy Communion on the hand and subsequent grave sacrileges. Jesus told her at the time that no change was possible, because the priests and the laity refused obedience to the Holy Father. He also said: “He who under- stands should not do it!” One must pray the ACT OF LOVE, that this sacrilege may be stopped.

(Jesus, on receiving the Eucharist on the hand:)

“I said: Don’t touch me! This is valid for all times! It allows sin to spread, and it can’t be rid of.

“There are those who receive Me in their hands, without consideration, as though I were their equal. It is a way for the devil to approach many, as never he has been able. (God Speaks to the soul)

I am not looking for this information (on the Eucharist).   It literally  just falls into my lap.   I believe I need to share what is being shown to me so that others who want to know the Truth can go to the Lord and ask for confirmation of this specific Truth.  After all, it is our Lords Body.  Let us give Him the love and respect He deserves and treat Him with all due reverence.

If you have that nagging sense within you that you are being spoken to, please act on it.

According to Luisa’s writings on our times today,  she had this to say:

imageJesus speaking “Now we have arrived at approximately the third two thousand years, and there will be a third renewal.  This is the reason for the general confusion, which is nothing other than the preparation for the third renewal.  If in the second renewal I manifested what my humanity did and suffered, and very little of what My divinity was accomplishing, now, in this third renewal, after the earth will be purged and a great part of the current generation destroyed….I will accomplish this renewal by manifesting what My divinity did within My humanity (Diary XII, January 29th, 1919 from The Gift of Living in the Divine Will, Rev. Joseph Iannuzzi)

Blessings to all of you and May your Christmas be filled with Peace and Joy

Martyrs for the Faith

Being Martyred for our Faith, unfortunately, is something we must prepare ourselves for.    We have seen this happen within our own country on a number of occasions.  For instance, there was a recent mass shooting at a college, when the shooter asked if the student was a Christian or not.  If they said yes, they were shot.  Each of these students had the courage and strength to speak truth and NOT deny God when faced with death as a consequence.

We have been shown Christians being beheaded because of their faith;  they are being persecuted world-wide, which means, yes, they are being persecuted in the United States as well.  If a Christian will not go along with our government laws in regard to homosexuality and same sex marriage, the individual is jailed, fined or punished in some way.

We have seen how satan has become emboldened by our new laws and is now trying to set up statues and churches for satanic worship here in the United States.

As difficult as this is to even comprehend, we must have eyes to see and ears to hear.  Do not think for one moment that life will continue as usual.  It won’t.

Some of us may be asked to give up our lives  (Martyrdom) for the Faith, for God, and for the Eucharist.  In fact, the great Miracle foretold by Garabandol prophecy is that the Miracle will occur on the feast day of a Martyr of the Holy Eucharist.

I have been pondering this situation for about 18 years now and have been praying that I will have the grace to never forfeit Heaven and God for the sake of living a little longer.

Ponder the following Scripture passage from Revelations:

4 I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They[a] had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection.

From what I understand is that should any of us be asked to die for our faith in God, we will be raised up during the Era of Peace.  So, please begin talking to yourself now and convince yourselves that this is the only way to go.  It is not worth denying God or the Faith for anything.  Nothing at all should persuade us to forfeit eternal life.  Pray and ask for the grace to do this.

The reading for today, Maccabees 7:1-31 speaks of this very situation happening and how a Mother responded.

7 There were also seven brothers who were arrested along with their mother. The king was trying to compel them to eat the forbidden pork by torturing them with whips and cords. 2 One of them, speaking on behalf of the others, said, “What do you hope to ask and learn from us? We are prepared to die rather than sin against our ancestral laws.” 3 The king became angry and commanded frying pans and cauldrons to be heated. 4 As soon as they were hot, he commanded that the one acting as spokesman have his tongue cut out, be scalped, and have his hands and feet cut off while the rest of his brothers and his mother watched. 5 After the brother was maimed and utterly helpless, the king commanded him to be brought to the fire and fried alive. Although the smoke from the pan had spread widely, the brothers and their mother encouraged each other to die honorably, saying, 6 “The Lord God truly watches over us and will come to our aid. Moses testified to this in his song against them, saying, ‘God will have compassion on his servants.’”[a]

7 After the first brother died in this manner, they led forward the second one with mockery. They ripped off the skin of his head along with the hair and demanded, “Will you eat before every part of your body is punished limb by limb?”

8 But he answered in his native language, “Not at all.” Therefore, this brother also received in turn the same punishment as the first. 9 With his last breath he said, “You, who are marked out for vengeance, may take our present life, but the king of the universe for whose laws we die will resurrect us again to eternal life.”

10 After this, the third one was mocked. When it was demanded, he put out his tongue quickly, extended his hands courageously, 11 and stated with dignity, “I have received these limbs from heaven, and I give them up for the sake of God’s laws. But I hope to recover them from God again.” 12 The king and those with him marveled at the young man’s spirit, since he considered his agonies nothing.

13 After this one had died, the tormenters tortured the fourth brother as well. 14 When the end was approaching, he said, “Death at the hands of humans is preferable, since we look forward to the hope that God gives of being raised by him. But for you there will be no resurrection to life.”

15 Immediately afterward, they led the fifth brother forward and began to torture him. 16 While looking at the king he said, “You, though human, have power among human beings and do what you want. But don’t think that God has abandoned our people. 17 Just wait and observe his great strength, when God will torture you and your children.”

18 After him they brought forward the sixth brother. As he was about to die, he said, “Don’t deceive yourself in vain. We suffer these things because of our own sins against our God. Things worthy of wonder have happened. 19 But don’t think you will escape unpunished after trying to fight against God.”

20 The mother was particularly amazing and worthy of an honorable memory. She watched her seven sons die in the course of a single day but accepted it with a stout heart because of her hope in the Lord. 21 She encouraged each of them in their native language. Filled with noble thoughts, she fired up her womanly reasoning with manly courage, saying to them, 22 “I don’t know how you grew in my womb, nor did I grant the breath of life to you or arrange what makes you who you are. 23 For this reason, the creator of the world—who brought about the beginning of humanity and searched out the origin of all things—will again mercifully give you both spirit and life, since you disregard yourselves because of his laws.”

24 Antiochus thought that he was being treated with contempt and was suspicious of the tone of her voice. So he appealed to the youngest son, since he was still alive, not only through words but also through solemn pledges. If the young man turned from his ancestral practices, Antiochus promised him, he would make him both rich and prosperous, he would be considered a political advisor,[b] and he would be entrusted with public affairs. 25 When the young man wouldn’t accept the offer by any means, the king appealed to the mother to counsel the boy to save himself. 26 After a great deal of urging, she agreed to try to persuade her son. 27 By leaning toward her son and mocking the savage tyrant, she spoke in their native language: “Son, pity me who carried you in the womb nine months, nursed you for three years, nurtured you, and brought you into this stage of life with care. 28 I beg you, child, to look at heaven and earth. See everything that is in them and know that God made these things from nothing, and created humankind in the same way. 29 Don’t fear this killer but prove worthy of your brothers. Accept death so that in God’s mercy I should recover you with your brothers.”

30 Just at the moment when she finished speaking,[c] the young man said, “What are you all waiting for? I don’t intend to obey the king’s order, but I hear the command of the Law given to our ancestors through Moses. 31 But you, King, who have invented all sorts of evil against the Hebrews, will by no means escape God’s power.

I pray that we will all have the courage to do the right thing –

Get your homes in order because I have a sense that before the year is ended we will be in total chaos.  This is just a sense I have.  I did not hear anything from the Lord in regard to this — so this is coming from me.   But from everything I am seeing – all the signs in nature which scripture has alluded to are happening.  It can’t be far off.

God Bless
