Weighing in on Charlie Johnstons Prophecy

For those of you who have been following Charlie I would like to put forth my own thoughts here.  If you have not read his last posting you can read it here.  You can also see his final interview with “Focus TV” here.

He claimed that there would not be a peaceful transfer of power between President Obama and President elect Trump.  None of us have any idea what exactly transpired between God and Charlie, but apparently from his last posting, where he said he was wrong, according to his standards, would suggest that God never gave him explicit detailed information in regard to this situation.

Being a Prophet is tough business.  Although Charlie suggests that he interpreted things wrong – who can argue the fact that even though Trump was sworn in without incident, it certainly was not a  peaceful transfer of power.  So, this could be taken in a number of ways.   I am not sure what Charlie was thinking…..but, I personally do not see him as being wrong.  I see him as being wrong in the sense that he stated Obama would not finish out his term.  That was clearly wrong.

From the very beginning, after Trumps win, we have had nothing but chaos in the form of protests and riots with property being destroyed, people hurt and people jailed.  Hollywood democrats televising ads begging electors to not cast their electoral votes for Trump and then when that didn’t work out, they begged congress not to allow Trump to take office.  Individuals have been beaten because they voted for Trump,  slanderous articles and lies have been circulating about Trump from day one along with his supporters.  Then you have the Russian theory gaining traction and suggesting that he is an illegitimate President.  One third of the House Democrats boycotted the inauguration.

On the day of the Inauguration, 88 groups obtained permits to protest.  Some of them ended up being very violent.  Ironically, the car they set on fire was the limo of a Muslim immigrant who had one employee.  He didn’t have insurance to cover the car.

This has been anything but peaceful.  Obama himself suggested that if he could run for office again he would beat Trump.  Obama never told the people to stop rioting or trying to quiet them down.   In fact, their behavior was being encouraged.  By the way, George Soros’s financed many of the protests along with the Womens March in Washington D.C.

I guess, I would be very careful about condemning Charlie because he did warn us that it would not be peaceful and that our next President would not come from the Political System, which came to pass.    It is very difficult to interpret God’s messages no matter who you are.  Like he said, it could be that God is just allowing him to be humbled even more.  I would also suggest that perhaps the Lord is not wanting us to be dependent upon Charlie or anyone else,  but rather upon Him alone.  With Charlie out of the picture we have to learn to listen to God ourselves.

Prophets throughout the history of mankind have always been tested and humbled.  Charlie is being very humble and obedient.  These are signs from God.  He is also totally in line with the Magisterium of the Church and has three Spiritual Directors guiding him.  He is not out there doing his own thing.

I don’t think things will be getting any better.  There is a real hatred out there – which really can only be fueled by satan.  Look at the women’s March.  It was vulgar.  An article written on this can be found here.

So where do we go from here.  I think we all need Wisdom.  In fact, I read an excellent article written by Fr. Mike Schmitz on Wisdom.  He states that Wisdom comes from Truth.

“wisdom has been seen as the result of acquiring two things:  truth and experience.  We ignore the past when we don’t stop to evaluate and appreciate what we have experienced. When we fail to  recognize the way our decisions have impacted our lives and the lives of those around us and when we fail to acknowledge the ways other peoples decisions have impacted our lives, we are short-circuiting one of the essential ingredients for becoming wise.  To ignore one’s past can be absolutely devastating to a good life.  We can see this in our own experience, or in the experience of the people around us.  We all know the person who consistently dates one jerk after another.  Rather than learning from their past, this person not only continues to date jerks but the same kind of jerk.  To these people I like to reference the quote:  “Everything happens for a reason.  Sometimes that reason is you are foolish and make bad decisions.”  That might be harsh (although of course it is merely meant as a lighthearted way of pointing out our tendency to make unwise choices), but it is also often true of those who refuse to acknowledge the past.  If wisdom comes as a result of combining truth with experience, then in order to become wise, one must look at one’s past and assess it.  This is one of the incredible benefits from the practice of regularly  examining  ones conscience……it is only when we look at our past, assess our past, learn from our past and make corrections (aka repent) that we have the potential to become better and wiser”  (Fr. Mike Schmitz, – How Should We think about our past life?, Northern Cross)

Ok, that being said, I think we all need to take time to ponder our current situation and stay awake.  Do not take anything for granted.  God is in this and He will lead us through this horrible mess.  Be not afraid is something Jesus continually spoke to us through Scripture.

Now, I have been busy trying out many, many recipes for my grain-free lifestyle.  For those of you who have to be grain-free I have experimented with lots of recipes.  I will send you some links below.

Aussie Bites (thestayathomechef.com)

Wraps (lotsalittlelambs.com)

For this recipe I substituted 2 tbsp coconut flour for the Oat Fiber and it was fabulous.  The best recipe I have found so far for wraps.

Low Carb Fudgy Avocado Brownies   These are great.  best I have found so far.

Paleo Cranberry Walnut Scones  For this recipe, I made a few changes.

for the flour, Instead of using 2 cups almond flour I used 1/4 cup quinoa flour, 1 cup almond flour and 1/4 cup coconut flour, plus added an extra egg.  Instead of the orange zest, I subbed in 1 tbsp maple flavoring and they came out really good.  they were dense, not light and fluffy like most scones made without whole wheat flour.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Football Truffles – grainfree

I have more, but try these for now and see what you think.  hope you like them.

God Bless.

Pride blocks truth

I have been pondering a simple question.  I am wondering why we sometimes just cannot see the truth no matter how much evidence is presented to us.  I especially think about some of the conversations I have had with friends and family members  these last few months.

This morning  I was asking the Lord what is it that prevents us or continues to block us from seeing or hearing…..and  what I am perceiving is that it is Pride.  Pride fills us with darkness and Truth fills us with light.  Jesus did say He was the light and the Truth.  Truth is light.

Furthermore, when you think about it, the definition of Humility is being in the Truth.  A person who is complimented on his/her talents and then, out of false humility, waves it away is not humble.  Whereas the person who acknowledges the truth of their talents and gives God the glory for those talents is humble.

I was thinking about that too.  You know I do appreciate and respect Charlie Johnston very much.  He is from “The Next Right Step” blog.  He will sometimes mention how smart he is. I think, wow, that is kind of boastful isn’t it?  But, the way he says it really isn’t boasting.  He is acknowledging the gifts that God gave him.  He also acknowledges that he is ready to accept whatever humiliations God may allow to happen to him;  if he is in error, he will accept that;  and if he interpreted things wrong, he will accept that as well.  That is humility.  He is the type of person who is going to take responsibility for his actions and his words.  That is humility.  He won’t be blaming others for his errors.

So back to Pride.   The reason why I feel a need to write about this topic is because of what is coming upon us.  If we are to fumble through this time with our Faith intact, we will need to be humble so that we can always be in the light.  If per chance we become deceived and God puts someone in our path to show us the way, we would need to acknowledge our errors.  If we do not acknowledge our errors we will continue to walk down the wrong path and cause much harm to ourselves and quite possibly to those who are following our lead.

It is absolutely essential that we are able to admit our errors.  To seek truth for truth itself, and not for glorifying ourselves….thinking we have all the answers – we are right and everyone else is wrong.  Sometimes we have an agenda and no matter what, we won’t allow anything to stop us from fulfilling that agenda.  No one likes to be wrong, but, inevitably, all of us are wrong at one time or another.  The more pride we have, the more stubborn we become in holding on to our position.

Charlie mentioned that the Lord informed him that things will be so dark we will only see one step in front of us and we will need to rely totally on God….not on ourselves,  our opinions, our ideas, and our plans.  Do we know how to do this.

If someone tells you that your plan is probably not going to work and perhaps you should do something different….do you dig your heels in and become more stubborn or are you open to their suggestions.  Pride would be digging in and humility would be considering the suggestion.  If someone presents evidence to you in regard to a teaching – do you believe it or are you open to it?  Do you make excuses as to why you don’t need to believe that and then continue doing or believing something contrary to that truth?

I will tell you this:  If we do not believe a dogma taught by the Church we are in Heresy —  However, this is only if you deliberately will not believe it without actively searching for the truth.  If you are one of those people who does not believe in a particular article of Faith, I would really encourage you to seriously sit down and have a talk with God about that situation.  The more you really want to know truth instead of just embracing your own ideas, out of a sense of justifying your behavior, God will have mercy on you and show you truth.

We just came out of the year of Mercy.  Jesus told St. Faustina that if we do not come to Him during this time of Mercy, we will have to go through His Justice.  Yikes.  I don’t think you want that.   I know I certainly don’t… I personally  am trying to examen my own soul at this time with the hope of becoming more humble, especially in how I react to others who are filled with anger, discouragement, unbelief, etc.   These people are tough for me and really drain me.    I know that the Lord is asking me to be that bridge of hope and love for them.  He is asking that of all of us.  We will need to be patient and understanding.  The level of patience we show is in direct correlation to our humility by the way.

I guess I am trying to say we would do well to start repenting of our Pride and ask God’s forgiveness so that we can be in the light when things come upon us …and continue to stay in God’s grace so we will be able to cooperate with God’s plan every step of the way, leaning on Him and not ourselves.

God Bless

2017 – Could be the year of all Prophesy

Peace

Do not look forward to the mishaps of this life with anxiety, but await them with perfect confidence so that when they do occur, God, to whom you belong, will deliver you from them.  He has kept you up to the present; remain securely in the hand of His providence, and He will help you in all situations.  When you cannot walk, He will carry you.  Do not think about what will happen tomorrow, for the same eternal Father who takes care of you today will look out for you tomorrow and always.  Either He will keep you from evil or He will give you invincible courage to endure it.  (Golden Counsels of St. Francis de Sales).

The quote by St. Francis de Sales is appropriate for our times don’t you think.   I am a tad nervous – wondering when and how things will play out and praying that I will remain calm and faithful throughout the ordeal which will be upon all of us.  I am sure many of you feel the same way as well.  Uncertainty is God’s way whether we like it or not.  He is not going to give us details on how things will happen because He wants US to lean on Him and Trust Him, not ourselves.

From Pope Benedict to various Priests and Bishops, who have been speaking about the Fatima Message, (here is one) we are being reminded that  2017 is the 100th year Anniversary of Fatima, and the year that they think is the culmination of all the prophesies spoken of in regard to the chastisement, and the eventual Era of Peace which will follow.    Charlie Johnston claims that God has specifically told him that all will be done by late 2017. (Found here).

We have a couple of choices.  We can either ignore the warnings which the Blessed Mother and Jesus have been telling us for over 100 years or remain calm and do as Charlie suggests.  Acknowledge God, take the next right step, and be a hope to others.  That sounds easy, but I am getting the sense that nothing is going to be easy.  WE are all going to be purified in different ways depending on what our specific faults may be.  We will need to pray for faith and trust in God each step of the way and not try to control our lives, but rather, count on God.

Politically  we can see that it is not far-fetched to see that there may not be a peaceful transfer of power, which Charlie has continued to claim.  It is hard to believe what we are seeing – Hollywood putting out ads begging congress not to work with the President; begging the electors not to vote for Trump;  hate crimes because of Trump being elected;   volatile rhetoric coming from the left in regards to President Elect Trump– claiming he is communist, racist, and every other bad thing they can think of.   Ironic isn’t it.  He is for democracy and trying to stop the left leaning group from continuing their socialistic ideas for our country and they claim he is Communist.

Evil has become  rampant throughout our world.  The Blessed Mother did say when Communism comes back things would begin to happen.  Scripture  states:

5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the [a]Christ,’ and will mislead many. 6 You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. 8 But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.

9 “Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. 10 At that time many will [b]fall away and will [c]betray one another and hate one another. 11 Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. 12 Because lawlessness is increased, [d]most people’s love will grow cold. (Matthew 24: 5-12)

With Pope Francis causing so much controversy, the Clergy is becoming increasingly divided.  What I really found interesting is how God works.  Actually, I marvel at His wisdom.  There was a piece I was reading in regard to this situation whereby the writer spoke about how  Pope Francis, in his bold departure from Church Teaching, emboldened those clergy members who have similar beliefs, to come out of the closet.  Now they are actually advertising their heretical beliefs.  We would not have known who these clergy members were, had we not had a Pope who was of like mind.  This gave them a sense of security.  They were safe.  They became puffed up with pride and began to advertise their beliefs. “Pride comes before the fall”.    They are all condemning themselves and no one has to prove it.

So, why did God allow a man who promotes heretical teaching to become Pope.  This is the beauty of God’s Wisdom.  He is purifying His Church and He is bringing the evil deeds of these individuals into the light.  They are condemning themselves.   Under St. Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict, who were faithful to Christs teachings, these clergy members were not able to promote or come out of the closet with their beliefs.  They had to remain hidden or they would have been excommunicated.   Furthermore, it would have been very difficult to prove their intentions.  Now no proof is necessary, they are flaunting it for all to see.  Ever since Vatican II, they have been watering down the faith and slowly but surely trying to change Church Teachings.  But now they are at the threshold of no return.  They must repent or be severely punished for leading souls astray.

What I find hard to believe is this:  If they believe in God, how would they possibly dare to come against God and His teachings?  Or, is it like the case of lucifer.  Remember, he was the most magnificent angel in Heaven.  He was close to God and he knew God, but he rebelled out of pride.  There was a great war in Heaven and he and his cohorts were thrown down into the pit of hell.  These clergy….are they so prideful that they are following in lucifers footsteps????  I don’t know but it is a question I have.  I, myself, can’t possibly imagine going up against God.  We need to pray for all of them, because I personally don’t ever want to see a single soul go to Hell.  That is forever and ever and ever.  I can’t imagine that either, and I don’t wish that type of horror on anyone.

Here is what Jacinta, one of the three children of Fatima who received messages from the Blessed Mother.

Jacinta’s last words:
Tempered and molded by extraordinary penance and sacrifice, 10-year-old Jacinta proved to be precocious and prophetic in her vision of things. She had many private apparitions and countless revelations. Such was her supernatural illumination and holy wisdom that Mother Godinho, the directress of the Lisbon orphanage where Jacinta stayed prior to her death in the hospital, could only asked in awe and wonder, “Who taught you all these things?” The following statements uttered by Jacinta showed her depth of soul in face of the moral decay ravishing the world:

1.The sins which cause most souls to go to Hell are the sins of the flesh.

2. To be pure of body is to keep chastity. To be pure in soul is not to commit sins, not look at what one should not see, not to steal, never to lie, always to tell the truth however hard it may be.

3. Fashions that will greatly offend Our Lord will appear. People who serve God should not follow fashions. The Church has no fashions. Our Lord is always the same.

4. Doctors do not have the light to cure the sick because they do not have love of God

5. Priests should only occupy themselves with the affairs of the Church

6.Priests should be pure, very pure. The disobedience of priests and religious to their superiors and to the Holy Father greatly offends Our Lord.

7. To be a woman religious, it is necessary to be very pure in soul and body.

8. Many marriages are not good; they do not please Our Lord, and they are not of God.

9. Confession is a sacrament of mercy. Therefore, one must approach the confessional with confidence and joy.

10. My godmother, pray much for those who govern! Woe to those who persecute the religion of Our Lord. If the government left the Church in peace and gave freedom to the holy Faith, it would be blessed by God.

11. Wars are nothing but punishments for the sins of the world.

12. Our Lady can no longer hold back the arm of her beloved Son from the world. It is necessary to do penance. If people change their ways, Our Lord will still spare the world; but if they do not, the chastisement will come.

Pray for peace and calm for yourselves.  That you will remain faithful to God and His Teachings.  We are all together in this and within 11 months or so, we will come out of this totally purified and cleansed.

God Bless all of you.
